Royal Oak High School Assistant Principal

Since the Fall of 2020, I’ve had the privilege of serving as an Assistant Principal at Royal Oak High School. I hold both a Bachelor’s degree in K–12 Visual Arts Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Media and Technology from Eastern Michigan University. My background also includes expertise in Network, Information, and Technology Administration.
I am deeply passionate about instruction, curriculum development, equity, service, learning, travel, design, and the arts.
Over the years in Royal Oak Schools, I’ve had the opportunity to teach at multiple levels, including:
-
Elementary Visual Arts at Oak Ridge, Oakland, and Keller
-
Visual Arts and Design Technology at Royal Oak Middle School
-
Graphic Communications, Visual Imaging Technology, Web Design, Interactive Media, Digital Photography, and the Raven iLab at Royal Oak High School
In addition to teaching, I’ve served in several instructional support roles such as:
It’s an honor to be part of such an incredible community that values connection, inclusion, and excellence. I’m proud to serve the students, staff, and families of Royal Oak, and I bring that pride into everything I do. There’s something truly special about the Raven spirit—and I’m grateful to contribute to it every day.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions—my door is always open.
