Raven LogoI'm one of the Assistant Principals at ROHS since fall 2020. I received my bachelor's degree in K12 Visual Arts Education and my master's degree in Educational Media and Technology, both from Eastern Michigan University. My passions are instruction, curriculum, equity, service, learning, traveling, design, and the arts.

In my time working in Royal Oak I have taught elementary Visual Arts (Oak Ridge, Oakland & Keller), Visual Arts and Design Technology (Royal Oak Middle School), Graphic Communications, Visual Imaging Technology, Web Design, and Interactive Media, Digital Photography and the Raven iLab (Royal Oak High School). I have held a number of professional support roles such as Response to Intervention Data Coach, Teaching and Learning Specialist, and IB Diploma Programme Creativity, Activity, and Service Coordinator.

I lead Equity and co-lead School Improvement and am a representative for technology on our district's Learning Council. I also sit on the Oakland County Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice Council and am a member of the Cultural Competence Engagement Committee (CCEC), CCEC planning team, and DK-12 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team.
