Royal Oak High School Assistant Principal
August 2025
Over the past sixteen years, I’ve had the privilege of learning from the Royal Oak community and its students—my most valuable teachers. I’m excited to continue growing in my role as Assistant Principal at Royal Oak High School.
It’s an honor to serve in a school community filled with dedicated students, committed educators, and strong support from families. With more than twenty years of experience in education, I hold a degree from Wayne State University and a master’s in Special Education. My passion for leadership led me to pursue additional graduate work at Eastern Michigan University, where I earned my K–12 Administration Certificate.
Before stepping into administration, I served as a secondary special education teacher here in Royal Oak, working across a range of grade levels and instructional settings. I also gained valuable experience teaching both general and special education in Detroit and East Detroit.
I look forward to collaborating with our students, staff, and families to ensure a positive, successful school year for all.
In partnership,
Michael Corridor
